Mike Cipra is a writer who lives in Death Valley.
Mike's poems have been published in Phantom Seed and The Sun Runner Magazine. His short story, "Loving the Monster," won the Edward Moses Short Fiction Award, a contest judged by T.C. Boyle. "Loving the Monster" was later published by Contemporary Press in the Danger City I anthology. In addition, Mike's short stories have appeared in the Danger City II anthology, and the Awkward One and Awkward Two short story anthologies. Mike Cipra and Jai Chun co-wrote "The Mummy and the Bodhisattva," a play that was selected for the Downtown Urban Theater Festival in 2008 and produced at Cherry Lane Theater in New York.
